Chai 4 Chabad

Chai 4 Chabad

Join the Chai Club with a recuring donation:

Chabad at SMC does not charge for student programing. We believe in an open-door policy, where everyone is welcome regardless of affiliation, background or financial status. Yet, we still have bills to pay.

Have you ever wondered how Chabad is funded?! While Chabad Houses are similar all over the world, each is independent and responsible for raising their own funds. So, in addition to the phenomenal various programs that Rabbi Eli and Mirel arrange, they also are responsible to raise the $140,000 annual budget necessary to run Chabad at SMC.

You, as students/alumni have the power and means to make a meaningful impact on the success of SMC Chabad. Joining the Chai Club means commiting yourself to a recuring credit charge of only $18 every month or semester. $18 is less than 2 movies a month, or three drinks in a bar! Imagine – if we reach 100 alumni/students who give $18.00 a month, $21,600 could be raised, covering 15% of the annual budget!

 4 x $18= One Pizza and Parsha class     10 x $18= Monthly BBQ    14 x $18= One Shabbat Dinner

Every little bit adds up to a greater amount.
